Or let a guide show you
With a guide, the valley tells a different story
For those who want a real human guide: since 2016, Guide Rando Trail has been running guided outings in the Semois valley. Non-competitive, at the group’s pace, to reconnect with nature.
The guiderandotrail.com website is in French.
Why a guide
What an app will never replace

- 01
Local knowledge
The small paths, the viewpoints, the hidden corners of the region. The ones that are not always on the maps.
- 02
A tailor-made outing
The route is designed around the activity and the group. The pace is the group’s.
- 03
More than a walk
Hiking and trail running are combined with other sports, or with cultural and culinary experiences.

The guide
Mathieu Galerin, guide and founder
On 28 June 2026, eight days after the inauguration, Guide Rando Trail celebrated its 10th anniversary with the bridge’s Rando Brunch, announced by the Town of Florenville.
Passionate about sport and nature, Mathieu believes hiking, trail running and packrafting are ideal ways to discover a region: at that pace, you really look around you. He also writes this guide to the bridge.
